Grande Prairie Sled Dog Derby

Grande Prairie Sled Dog Derby 2013 Come on out to Evergreen Park January 5th and 6th at 9pm and get up close and personal with the exciting sport of Sled Dog Racing. The Grande Prairie Sled Dog Derby Association along with Evergreen Park will be hosting mushers from across Canada. Watch as some of the best mushers compete for All Around Musher, Veterinarians Choice, Furthest Travelled Team and Most Sportsmanlike Musher as well as cash prizes. Between races take a walk through the dog trucks and talk with the mushers. If you would like to volunteer or sponsor please contact Rhonda LaValley 780-538-1356. There is no admission fee, but a donation to the Sexsmith Food Bank would be greatly appreciated.
